In order to install a solar power plant on the roof, it is important that the roof covering is in good condition and will last at least the next 30 years. Installation is possible on practically all types of roofing, as the supporting structure is adjusted according to the material from which the roof is made.

The ideal orientation of the roof is on south, southeast or southwest.

Installing solar panels on a roof that is oriented towards east or west is also recommended. With the fact that in this case the repayment period of the investment may be extended by several months. We do not recommend installing solar panels on the north side of the roof.

The minimum area for a classic gable roof is at least 29 m2, and on a flat roof at least 58 m2.

In addition to the size and orientation, it is also important that there are no obstacles in the area that would cast a shadow on the panels, e.g. tall buildings, tall, bushy trees.

We have an excellent solution for such cases, an independent solar power plant, which is not connected to the electricity distribution network. Such a solar power plant in addition to solar panels and an inverter includes an electric battery, where the electric energy stores. This energy can be used at night, when the weather is bad or when there is no sunlight.

Hybrid inverters produced by renowned manufacturer FOX ESS boast an integrated EPS function (automatic switching). It is a regulating function switching between renewable and traditional sources of energy when the need for it appears (e.g. when it comes to blackout from the network).

EPS function enables switching in 0.02 seconds, which means that we even don't notice the switch at all. All devices in the house that require electricity for their operation, continue to function smoothly. Since the EPS function is already added as standard to the inverter, its use does not represent any additional cost.  

Buying a solar power plant is a big and primarily a long-term investment, so it should be carefully considered. Buyers are usually looking for the best performance/price ratio, but it need to be careful. Sometimes the cheapest solutions can be the most expensive in the long run.

The final price, of course, depends on several factors, such as the size of the solar power plant itself, the shape of the roof, the type of roofing, which depends on what kind of substructure is needed, etc., but above all component quality.

The installation itself is arranged in 1-2 days, followed by connection to the network and handover.

In case, that consent still needs to be obtained, and the whole thing can take several weeks. As far as we can, we do our best to complete the process as soon as possible.

Therefore, if there is an electrified atmosphere near our house, it will be discharged via the solar power plant installations on the roof. Discharges could destroy the inverters/inverters themselves, which is why they have these built-in overvoltage protection.

If you already have an independent lightning conductor installation, the solar power plant or the substructure connects to it. Otherwise we take care of grounding the substructure. This will keep your solar power plant and house safe even during a storm.
